Pagani Huayra

So the Geneva Motor Show will ended on March 15th at 7 PM and it will be another year until we get to visit it again. While being there I got to see a bunch of nice cars and I was able to talk to a lot of different people and find out a lot about the cars, but two cars that really stuck out to me where the Huayras, which where being presented at the Pagani stand.

I was lucky enough to be allowed into the stand to take pictures of the Paganis. If you haven't heard of the Huayra yet, I'll give you some basic info on the car. Production of the Huayra started in 2012, but all Huayras have been sold out, due to the fact that it is a limited run of 100 cars. It's a 2 door, 2 seat hypercar, which is powered by a twin turbo Mercedes-AMG V12 engine. The V12 puts out 730 horsepower and 1000 newton meters of torque, which propel the Huayra from 0-60 mph in 3.2 second and hitting a top speed of 231 mph (372 km/h).

Even though you can't buy a regular Huayra anymore, you may still be in luck because Pagani is bringing a roadster version of the Huayra to Geneva in 2016. The current Huayra is priced at $1.6 million (1,198,000 €), so I will assume that the Huayra will be in that pice range as well, should you want one of these super exclusive cars. I apologize for the picture quality,. I had a tough time with the artificial lighting at the Car Show with the Paganis, but I promise I'll do a better job should I see one in the city sometime :)

For now stay tuned, because I have a lot more content from the car show coming up in the next few days. If you have any questions feel free to ask!

Geneva Motor Show

As you probably know the car show is coming up soon, March 5-15 to be precise, with the press days being the 3-4 of March, and I'm quite excited. Not only because there will be a bunch of new releases from Koenigsegg all the way to Ferrari to Aston Martin, but also because we can probably expect to see some nice cars cruising the streets of Geneva as well. For example last year at the car show there was a McLaren P1 at the 4 Seasons and a bunch of other supercars.

I have some pictures of the P1 which was there during the car show last year, although I took the pictures in September. Sadly the cover was on while I was there, but one of the rims was poking out just a bit, revealing the P Zero Corsa tires on the P1.

Hopefully we'll see at least one P1 on the streets and if not I'll have some other very special posts coming up from the car show anyway, so stay tuned for that :)
